Training Overview

Effectively using the NMHSPF and its output reports for regional service planning can be difficult without sufficient guidance given the extensive amount of information contained within such a large-scale piece of work. Therefore, The University of Queensland has been commissioned by the Australian Government to develop and run a NMHSPF training program for PHNs and jurisdictions who intend to use the tool to inform their planning.

Training will primarily be provided via a series of workshops (referred to as Stages 1-3). The materials covered in these workshops have been developed to progressively build skills and knowledge from introductory (Stage 1) to licensed NMHSPF-PST user (Stages 2 and 3) levels of competency.
